  Hi Greltok. Sorry if i've missed this somewhere straightforward... but i've looked over the settings a few times, and can't for the life of me find/work it out... is it possible to have the roles showing, without the role colours taking over the class colours?

  I seem to only be able to have the roles on or off, including both the role tags AND the colours.

  joonasv: It sounds like you're coloring your unit frames based upon role. Since hunters can only be "ranged", it's not necessary to inspect them to determine their role. Paladins and Death Knights must be inspected, so it's very likely due to the Blizzard bug.

  Even in r34, the roles don't seem to be working correctly. For example a paladin and a death knight were with their class colors while a hunter was blue. This could also be because of the current problems with inspect function in WoW.

  After numerous requests: Changed role "Caster" to "Ranged". Hunters are now classified as "Ranged" rather than "Melee".

  I query LibGroupTalents-1.0 for the role. The author of LGT has decided that hunters shall be melee rather than caster.

  Hunters are listed as "Melee", which I generally hope the hunters in my groups don't do.

  I would suggest categorizing DPS roles as Melee and Ranged, rather than Melee and Caster.
