Description
Since 4.0.1 all my auras disapparead. When trying to create a new aura group, the following Lua error occus:

Steps to Reproduce
Open the Grid config at AuraExt.
Enter a name e.g. "test" in the field "New aura group".
Click okay or hit return.
The Lua error occurs.

Laren Oct 15, 2010 at 11:04 UTC - 0 likesThanks a lot but I already recreated all auras, copy and paste from the old SavedVariables was quite effortless. :)
I attach the old Grid.lua anyways, maybe it can help find a bug worth fixing. The only thing I noticed is that the profiles seem to have odd names and even when switching to them via Grid and reloading the UI it would not pick up those old auras again and show them via config.
EDIT: The Grid.lua is right from the time after updating Grid to a 4.0.1 version without really touching anything else.

Julith Oct 15, 2010 at 07:15 UTC - 0 likesGood to hear that it works, but now you lost your settings of course :/ If you can send me your old saved variables grid.lua file I can try to find the actual problem and make your old settings work (but no promises there :-).

Laren Oct 14, 2010 at 20:53 UTC - 0 likesThanks, I deleted GridStatusAurasExt from the SavedVariables and now I can create auras again. Something got mangled with the profiles when upgrading Grid to 4.0.1 I think.

Julith Oct 14, 2010 at 15:52 UTC - 0 likesSince I'm not able to reproduce the problem you'll have to try some things for me:
1. Try disabling everything except Grid and GridStatusAurasExt.
2. Try changing the Grid profile (after changing it you'll have to relaod your ui for GridStatusAurasExt to update)
3. Make a backup of the saved variables for Grid under "WTF\Account\<your account>\SavedVariables\Grid.lua"; and then remove the original. Are you able to add aura groups then?
