Grid

45 - Lock/Unlock Tab (showing Grid on it)

In one of the latest releases a "Lock/Unlock Tab" on top of the Grid frames was introduced. As I frequently move my frames (different positions for soloing, raiding, pvp ...) they are never locked.

Now as the spots where I move my frames to are tightly customized the tab overlaps with other windows. Would it be possible to remove this tab again or at least change it to something less obtrusive ... or just make it optional?

Thank you in advance from a long term grid user.

I don't claim to know what's best for you, but I find that I rarely if ever have to move Grid or any of my other UI elements.

I'm glad that you've found a workaround. The tab was added because many people found it non-intuitive to drag Grid around by the space inbetween/around the frames. And Grid also lacked any visual indication whether it was locked or unlocked.

Thank you for the fast response. I usually drag Grid through clicking on it's border. But I reduced my "issue" a little by changing the scale/frame size ratio (scaled Grid down but increased the frame width/height + text size). Now the "Grid tab" is a lot smaller and less obtrusive.

Probably not going to happen. That's the only place you can use to drag Grid around now. I'll leave the ticket open for voting though.
