Grid

340 - Frame Alpha setting does not hold between reloads/relogs

What version of Grid are you using?
1.30300.1308

What version (and language) of WoW are you using?
3.3.5.12340

What were you doing when the problem occured?[b]
Reloading or Logging in/Relogging.

[b]What happened? What did you expect to happen instead?
Before Reload/Relog I changed the Alpha of Grid's outer surrounding frame to 0 in an effort to hide it (I can find no option in the settings to simply disable or hide it) and when I Reload or Relog it snaps back to it's old settings. It doesn't seem to be held between these events.

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No.

Does the problem still happen when you disable all addons (including Grid plugins) except for Grid?
Yes.

Please provide any additional information below.
None to provide really.

I've had the background color's alpha set to 0 forever, and have never had it reappear. If you change some other setting, does that revert between sessions, too? The most likely cause of this problem is that your Grid saved variables file is marked read-only, and WoW cannot write new data to it. Exit WoW, and find this file:

World of Warcraft > WTF > Account > YOUR ACCOUNT NAME > SavedVariables > Grid.lua

Right-click on it, and make sure that "Read Only" is unchecked.

You may also want to try renaming the file to "Grid.lua.sav" (again, while WoW isn't running), as it may just be that the file is corrupted and WoW isn't able to read all of it.
