i think this might be a case of a general over-aggressiveness on the part of gnomeworks. i think my "do i craft or do i have mats available" logic is ignoring non-bag items, so gw doesn't know to withdraw from the bank at all. you're probably just seeing it more because there are a lot more crafting options with pseudo-tradeskills active. i will get to the bottom of the issue.
The latest build r54 seems to have completely broken the automatic bank withdrawal for me, whereas build r53 had trouble, but would withdraw after a few tries. GnomeWorks also seems to be completely ignoring anything in the bank, instead just queuing up the mats through pseudo-trade once the conversions are recorded.
the author of itemauditor has provided me some code that i will use to make a plug in for the crafting queue. the queue code is still a bit fluid so i haven't done that yet.
i'll look into how i might use those mods for pricing info, if that's what you're getting at.
I was able to make the font bigger (at least noticeably in the que section with ClearFont2) so that was helpful.
I came across two addons that would be a perfect plug in option if you so desire. ItemAuditorand MySales.
Item Auditor is very very fluid. It followed my purchase of runecloth all the way through to the Vellum Enchantment I did with the amount I invested per item created. It was awesome: example below.
Runecloth -> Runecloth Belt(including the purchase of thread with my rep discount) -> Dream Dust -> to Enchant Bracer - Greater Stamina on vellum I (which I also bought from the AH adding to the invested total) is Mind Boggling.
Then if you take the information from mysales you get your real value of what you did instead of playing with the highs and lows from the AH. It's your loss/gain. I think this possible option would really be beyond awesome.
Thanks for putting as much work as you already did into this addon!!!
once i get into options and such, i'll add the ability to scale it.
you MIGHT be able to do:
i have no idea how scales will affect things tho.
also, custom categories will be implemented ... eventually.
I really like the look of this but I have 2 requests.
First, I have bad eyesight when it comes to certain things. I have Move Anything but i can't get the Frame to scale bigger. Is there a way to add that as an option for the addon itself or something I can do in the Lua.
Second: I really like making my own categories. (Vanity items, world drops, top sellers) That type of thing. Is there any way to add that feature as well.
As I mentioned I love the look of this most of all. It's just so pretty. Don't get me wrong it's functional too but I like the pretty.
Hey Hey Lilsparky,
does Gnomeworks include Lilsparky's Workshop support for AH pricing? [Yes! When I start WoW helpful red text tells me to update lilsparky's workshop]
If not, is that planned? [Not only planned, but it works and it's awesome]
Edit: Sorry to bug you while in Alpha, but I'm also looking forward to being able to add the crafting queue from Quick Auctions 3 directly into Gnomeworks too.
antcuc - yeah, i guess that's a bigger problem than i had first considered... the goal is to only show things you can actually do, so i'll focus on that next.
stalksta - i appreciate all donations! here's the direct link:
The Donate tab just above Ticket on the right hand side of the page.
Where can I donate some money for your hard work Lilsparky? :)
