GatherMate2_Data

Data extract for GatherMate2. Use GatherMate_Data for the original GatherMate. This version is include data for cataclsym ,as extrernal sites begin migrating their data.

How to install the data:

  • 1.) install GatherMate2_Data
  • 2.) Once in game, open gathermate (/gathermate)
  • 3.) Select the Import section
  • 4.) select the data you want and click import.
  • 5.) Profit

    Hello, just wanted to let you know that at 10:00am est I took a break from gathering motes of air from windy clouds in Nagrand and when I resumed again at 11:30am est the icons that were being left behind were those of steam clouds instead of the windy cloud icon it had been leaving on the map. Not a real big deal but it makes for an uneven look and I don't want to clear all the windy cloud icons I have on the map and start anew. Thanks.

    I am in Zangarmarsh extracting motes of water from swamp gas clouds and when I checked my world map I found that the addon is not leaving an icon where I extracted the mote at. I have the latest version installed. I haven't been in this zone for a while and so far it is the only zone that I know doing this. Thanks.

    Edit: Those libs had been updated for 4.1 too early. Now that 4.1 has been released, these errors are fixed.

    Kazragore- That error is related to the updated Ace3 Libs. GatherMate2_Data isn't at fault. See http://www.wowace.com/addons/gathermate2/tickets/34-major-bug-in-4-1-detection-on-4-0-live-impacts-lots/ for details.

    v3.7 doesn't work, getting error after choosing "Import" in the options from GaterMate2:

    I have tried everything to import the data and have been unsuccessful. Gathermate2 works in game just fine. But when I bring up Import, there's nothing to import. I've tried putting the DB files in WTF>Account>Account Name>Realm>CHAR>Saved Variables and I still cannot see the DB's in game. I've tried putting them in JUST WTF>Account>Account Name>Saved Variables and this doesn't work either. So could someone PLEASE tell me where I can find the proper instructions and where these files have to go? 2 days now trying to figure this out. Gathermate2 is working fine at logging the stuff I find, but hell....why would I want to waste my time with this?

    It's just leaving steam cloud icons behind in places where it works now. It quit working properly when gather hud was updated yesterday.

    that seemed to help a little. it cut down a few hundred nodes of useless double data. I'm guessing gathermaet now just ignores rich nodes on top of exact coords of a normal node? or maybe just overwrites the normal one with rich one? either way only tracks ONE ping instead of 2 or 3 for a single ore node?

    i still wanna think deepholm is special though in that the ores are even randomly possible to be obsidian or elementium, cause there are TONS of nodes that are still directly on top of eachother of completely different types

    latest version of gathermate2 now handles the rare spawns properly for obsidium and elementium

    in regards to mining, all elementium nodes are also rich elementium and pyrite nods. a simple fix would be to just track all 3 as one node and cleanup 2/3rds of uldum and deepholm and twilight highlands (mostly deepholm) where gathermate is quite simply sucking cpu and memory mapping everything times 3. not sure how hard it'd be to code parser to just treat 3 types has a hybrid random spawn node, you'd also have to stil localize all 3 types when hitting them to be linked to a single pin type in gathermate as well, but i think efficiency wise it will help a lot. you really need to check out deepholm to see what i mean.
