14 - Waypoint Prioritization (WoWCraft at it's best)

  I noticed that once i set the waypoint i couldn't edit it after that, and that on logging out or reloading the UI they go away.  Could there be a way to allow the user to prioritize and edit the list of waypoints that have been made and to store it for future play?  Also as the waypoints get knocked out, the priority of them should change.  If 2 share the same priority they get shown at the same time.  I guess to make it easier on you, you could limit the number of waypoints tracked to about 5 or 10.  I really don't know how hard that would be.  Also an option to make only the highest priority waypoint (or maybe top 3) show up or just show them all as small numbers on the HUD.  All of this would probably be best under a new "Waypoints" tab.  That way the Shift+Right Click menu would have to change very little.  

Here's kind of what i was thinking for the interface:

{Dropdown Waypoint List Based on Primary Target Data and S}(this would be used to auto-fill/allow editing of the other fields)
{Dropdown Continent List} {Dropdown Zone List}  
Grid Coordinate           : XX.XX YY.YY
Altitude                      : ZZZZ (I can dream, right?)
Icon Type                    : *Raid Icon or Waypoint #*
Mission Data               : End Goal
Objective Data             : Do What
Primary Target Data     : How
Comments:  User comments go here (only show on world map)
Priority: {Pri#}

Perhaps this could be used to pull up questhelpers next 10 or 15 waypoints and break them down as such so that they can be interspersed with the user waypoints.  Again i'm not sure how hard this would be...but as it would depend on another addon, i'm sure it wouldn't be any easier.  Currently, I imagine the display would be as such:

{Satyr Horns / Acquire Satyr Horns}
{Kalimdor}                   : {Ashenvale}  
Grid Coordinate           : 81.26,51.38, 0235          
Icon Type                    : *Star or 5*
Mission Data               : Satyr Horns
Objective Data             : acquire Satyr Horns
Primary Target Data     : kill Bleakheart Satyr
Comments:  User comments go here (only shown on world map, to save space on the hud)
Priority: {5}

All these ideas were pulled from what I've seen of real life fighter waypoint systems mixed with a little WoW and personal ideas, so i think this is in line with the idea behind FlightHUD.

Also, where's a good place to learn how to script this stuff (Lua for Noobs?).  Maybe I could help out.
