14 - Not an error, not an enchancement, just a question.

Every time I log in to game I see a message printed to the chat window that says :

"Extractor: Item scanning completed"

What exactly is it scanning and why? Can we disable that message somehow since it is of no use to us players?

It was a compromise, ultimately. The data available in the tooltip isn't "ready" until all the possible ores, herbs, etc are "cached". I have to go through and load all those items into cache to make sure I can present them in the UI. The message indicates when the tooltip is available. Yes, I can disable it or do so optionally, or whatever. I'll treat this as an enhancement and kee4p the ticket open.
