Dualspec Profiles

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This addon allows switching to a desired configuration-profile of specific addons when changing specs.

The idea originated from Bartender4_Dualspec. This is the more generic version of it.

The idea is actually quite similar to LibDualspec-1.0 by Adirelle. The main differences however are:

  • This is not a library, but a standalone addon, that maintains all spec-specific-profile-names at one location.
  • DualspecProfiles automatically supports nearly all Ace2 and Ace3 out of the box.
  • DualpsecProfiles saves the spec-profile-mapping differently
    - LibDualspec only saves "alternate spec's profile". This is completely useless when running wow on multiple machines (when swapping specs on another machine).
    - DualspecProfiles saves "spec 1 profile" and "spec 2 profile" separately and applies the current specs profile at startup if needed.
