Please provide any additional information below.
Hi there, I have been watching my Crusader Strike for quite a while now, and it looks like DrDamage calculates the possible Damage-Values much too high.
As example, with my current Equip selfbuffed, DrDamage calculates a Crit Value possible between 1400 and 1700 with an average crit somewhere around 1550. However, my highest Crit so far has been around 1200, usually lower (Recount tells me an average Crit around 980).
For non-crit values, it get's closer, but DrDamage still seems to calculate too high, too. My average value is around 500 with my current gear self buffed with a Max Hit around 700. DrDamage calculates right now values between 700 and 850 with an average around 770. Much higher than the real hits.
Would be great if you could have a look at it.
Best Regards.

Gagorian Sun, 06 Dec 2009 23:27:30I've looked into this issue and I noticed that in fact Divine Storm is probably wrong. Unlike all sources claim, Divine Storm does not seem to be normalized. After changing Divine Storm both Crusader Strike and Divine Storm seem to be affected by mitigation identically, fixing this issue.

Gagorian Sat, 21 Nov 2009 21:48:50DrDamage uses 75% weapon damage for Crusader Strike and 110% for Divine Storm.
Although you're correct that the same issue should apply to Divine Storm as well. I'm not sure why Divine Storm would be correct when Crusader Strike is not.
I currently don't have an account, and I cannot do any testing so if you figure out anything more related to this issue let me know.

Rhynox Sat, 21 Nov 2009 16:32:09Hi Gagorian, yes, it is physical (weapon) damage, an I will try setting mitigation values. However, "Divine Storm" is physical damage as well, and the DrDamage values fit perfectly there. Any idea on that?
By the way, Crusader Strike did once 110% Weapon Damage (like Divine Storm), however has been reduced to 75% Weapon Damage a few weeks ago (untalented), could this be a possible reason too?

Gagorian Sat, 21 Nov 2009 15:56:15Well, it's physical damage, isn't it? That means it's reduced by target armor, that isn't automatically taken into account by DrDamage. You need to manually set your target mitigation values in the options if you wish to take it into account. I believe this is the reason why the values don't seem to match.
