Want to buy an item, and not sure what's the cheapest way to get it? You can buy the item, buy the mats needed to make the item, or buy the mats to make items to make the mats. I thought about this as I power-leveled my tailor. This will be the first addon I've created, so hopefully I can pull it off.
Ex.
Frostweave Bag A . 6 X Bolt of Imbued Frostweave, 2 X Eternium Thread B. Bolt of Imbued Frostweave - 2 X Bolt of Frostweave, 2 X Infinite Dust C. Bolt of Frostweave - 5 X Frostweave Cloth
It should pull the data from Auctioneer, and give you a base cost for buying the first stage mats, (A). Then it should give you a breakdown on the following two stages.
