I also encountered this error. After I uninstalled Cartographer_Quests, Cartographer_QuestObjectives, Cartographer_Vendors, Cartographer_Data Cartographer_MailBox, the error no longer occurs now.

    Currently I only have Cartographer_Fishing, Cartographer_Herbalism, Cartographer_Mining and Cartographer_QuestInfo installed.

Good news: I don't get this error anymore (had nothing to do with Fubar_ToFu for me: I do not have, nor have I ever had, that addon installed) with HEAD.

Removing WTF directory cleared the error in HEAD.

Edit: Removed link and info about unrelated and invalid bug report. Still learning the ropes with Lua and addons. Thanks for your patience!

I've managed to reproduce this reliably. It occurs when you also have Fubar_ToFu loaded. Remove ToFu and the problem goes away. Clearing out saved variables for both of these mods makes no difference.

    Running Cartographer v2.3.1 r2268 and Fubar_ToFu r72785.12 for reference.

Please try renaming your WTF folder and see if this fixes the issue.
