Lightfeather Jul 06, 2010 at 00:57 UTC - 0 likesI couldn't figure out why my husband's battle.net real friends were showing up and I was just getting a red line saying that battle.net was offline. I turned off all my addons to see if there was a conflict and sure enough, with no addons my real ID friends list popped right back up. After slowly adding them all back on one by one I've discovered the culprit.
Broker_ChannelWatch does not play nice with the new patch and causes my friends window to be completely empty so I have to keep it disabled until there's a fix. I really like this addon so I hope there is a fix!

Morgalm Oct 29, 2009 at 19:16 UTC - 0 likesProbably not working because libwho is queing it and for some reason never doing the Q. What mods are you using? Any other chat type mods or mods that might have an outdated libwho? And I am sure you are using the newest version right? :P Have you turned on debug mod of channelwatch? That might give us more info.

Highend Oct 29, 2009 at 07:22 UTC - 0 likesUnfortunately it happens all the time and yes, I already tried to disable and reenable that channel but the behaviour persisted.
One behaviour is consistent: My character logs in, Broker_Channelwatch shows 0 people in channel "abc" (although there are 5 in it). This doesn't change over time, until someone joins channel "abc", then Broker_Channelwatch shows 1 and the name of that guy.
So after a login atm Broker_Channelwatch ignores all people that are already in a channel and will only show those that join after your login.
Shouldn't the "/chatwho <chatname>" be traceble (why it is not working when Broker_Channelwatch is enabled)?

Morgalm Oct 28, 2009 at 22:52 UTC - 0 likesIs this all of the time or just once in a while? I have noticed once in a while it seems to lose a couple people from a channel (very intermittent) and I can't nail down the reason. Have you tried going into options and unchecking watch that channel and then rechecking it. This should populate it correctly.

Highend Oct 28, 2009 at 22:02 UTC - 0 likesDon't ask me why but Broker_ChannelWatch is only displaying a small subset of people for the channel (it's only one) that I watch...
If I do a "/chatwho <channelname>" I don't get anything back from the server until I disable Broker_Channelwatch. After that I get an output (which lists all the players in that channel).

Finally, I have a tooltip :) It has some aligning problems with (longer) guild names but... I have a tooltip *g*
Thanks a lot, Highend
