Broker_Calendar

Displays todays and upcoming events from in-game Calendar in simple tooltip.

It is designed as DataBroker plug-in, that lets you see events from in-game Calendar. Addon will be attached to minimap by default, but if you want to move/customize it, you will have to install additional addon like TitanPanel, ButtonBin, Fortress and there are many more.

Features:

Displays events for current day and it's start time.
Displays events for upcoming week (this should be configurable eventually), their starting date and status.
Opens Calendar on click.

FAQ:

Sometimes I can't see any events in tooltip even though there are several in calendar
- I think this is bug on Blizzard's side and if you open the calendar it will be displayed correctly in tooltip.

So, in latest version I added new icon, that better describes the addon and I made configurable date format. Check it out at interface options. Next I'll add warning about new events/invites and support for events on alts.

Sorry! My English is very poor, would like to ask, how to make the calendar display year- month-day format, and this sort, Asians used to sort by year, month day，thank you very much！

I don't know if this icon is provided in the WoW client, or if it was made for the addon, but the image below is what it looks like. It's not a very good image, I'll admit, but it looks like one of those daily desk calendars with the large number for the date.

The icon I use is from Calendar_Broker/Calendar for Broker, but it's the same icon as the one above (just not readily available pic).

xtoq: Which is the icon you're using? I never really found any icon, that I felt was right for the addon, so I was sticking with this one. If I like it, I could change it to default, but otherwise there won't be an option for that for sure.

This is totally one of those I'm-probably-the-only-one-who-cares requests, but how hard would it be to set an option to change the icon? I change it manually, but it's a PITA to remember to do it. Or is there a way for me to write an "addon" that will change that icon for me, eliminating the need for me manually change it when you update? Thanks for an excellent addon.

xevilgrin: 1) I'll add configurable date support. 2) I was thinking of adding support for showing events of alts, but it will be quite big change and unfortunately I have some exams coming this week. So you'll have to wait a bit.

@joshmiller83 for example most of the european players need the date to be shown like DD/MM/YYYY ( bear in mind US is not the world ;-) )

@crazybenny any chance to get this add working across servers and factions.. want to know the invited/confirmed dates i have with my horde char as well as my ally char on different servers.. would be very very great !!!

The date on the LDB show DD/MM/YYYY ? Where/who in the world shows the date like that? lol ;)

Can we get an option to show it as MM/DD/YYYY ? Please?

Any chance of giving us a warning when there is a pending signup like blinking date or a text in red
