BigBrother

12 - Performance issues when displaying the summary window

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Be in a 25 man raid
2. Pull up the buffs/consumables summary window
3. Watch as your FPS drops to 1

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expected it to perform as it had before, which was to not introduce any performance issue.

What version of the product are you using?

v3.0.4-Release

Do you have an error log of what happened?

No.

Please provide any additional information below.

The previous release, whose version I do not know, but presume to be the release before v3.0.4, did not do this.

Yes, it does seem to be much worse in the consumables window.

Interesting. Nothing changed in the code except some consolidation of the spell IDs and an update to the TOC.

I suspect it was always there but made worse by some other change that happened in the game.

I'll look into it. I've certainly noticed the slowdown, but not to 1fps.

Same problem here, also with the new version.

I've noticed that this problem only seems to exist (or perhaps is just very considerably worse) when displaying Consumables. I haven't seen any noticeable frame rate loss when displaying Blessings or Buffs. Switching from Consumables to Blessings returns the frame rate to normal, and switching back to displaying Consumables makes it drop sharply again.

It seems to get progressively worse as you open and close the summary window. Just an observation.
