35 - Clickthrough

I would like to see the ability to see the ability to lock a bar, making it unclickable and allowing clickthrough to items beneath it in the playfield.

At the moment I'm running with addons like TellMeWhen and ReadySpells.  These allow you to place a few spell icons on the screen that light up when the relevant spell is ready.  As the icons are not clickable they can be placed right in (or close to) the centre of the play area.  This means that, when playing, you don't have to divert your eyes from the action to identify when key spells are ready or have procced and there is no danger you'll accidently click the spells or have them otherwise get in the way of the action.

Seems to me like this could be a relevantly simple feature enhancement that could be very useful for a lot of people.  Especially in conjunction with existing features like hide when out of combat.

Cheers,
Cayle

Just seen this show up in the mod. Thanks for implementing! :)

How's the thinking about it going? Currently the existing cooldown addons out there don't really suffice for monitoring of spells. The issue for me is that there are a number of factors that affect a spells useability for Warriors: Cooldown, Procs (sword/board, block) and Rage. All the cooldown mods out there either monitor just the cooldown (without taking into account procs that might zero this) or the ready-state (without taking into account whether there is enough rage to cast). I've tried ReadySpells (abandoned), TellMeWhen, NeedToKnow, Cooldownbuttons, CooldownHUD, Forte and countless others but none do this right...I'm beginning to get a bit desperate. ;)

Anyway, whatever your decision, thanks for the great mod. I run a very tight, minimal UI which really enhances my WoW experience and that just would not be possible without BT4. Love it. :)

Thanks. It'll mean one less mod for a fair few people, I would guess. For me, it will really help my raid-tanking. It's hard to keep situational awareness when staring at your action bar, however well implemented and aesthetically pleasing that bar might be. ;)

    I'll think about it.
