202 - Overlapping bars when small window size
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn on windowed mode (keep 1920x1200 res).
2. Reduce window size below roughly 1440x900 or something like that (UI shrinks).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Bartender4 bars keep from overlapping and continue to shrink. Instead some bars start overlapping. See these screenshots:
Larger window size (shrunk 1920x1200):

Smaller window size (shrunk 1920x1200):

What version of the product are you using?
4.4.1
Do you have an error log of what happened?
Nope.
Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe how they overlap depends on how you have your anchors set? Worth noting also is that the overlapping doesn't seem to get any worse than what you see in the screenshot! After that it seems everything just keeps shrinking as it should.

InterClaw Sat, 31 Oct 2009 14:31:43Hmm I'm not too sure about that. You see, both the screenshots are at 1920x1200. Everything is just smaller on the second one, or at least it's supposed to be, due to window size. If I want to run wow in a tiny window at 1920x1200 then everything is supposed to be, well, tiny. :)
However, there seems to be some sort of "interval" where Bartender4 momentarily stops shrinking as it should and instead starts overlapping a bit, until it reaches the maximum overlapping (screenshot 2). After that it resumes shrinking with the rest of the UI, but maintaining that same maximum overlapping that you can see in the screenshot.
Indeed, it seems I can work around this by setting the same anchor for the bars, but it would be easier for ppl if the bars didn't stop shrinking during that "window size interval" if you get my drift. :)

CMTitan Sat, 31 Oct 2009 11:36:56Indeed a lot of the overlapping can be prevented by setting the anchors to the right places. I think all bars on the bottom should be anchored to bottom center and the bars on the right to top right. When you resize then, everything will be repositioned more correctly.
Of course it will always be possible to resize to too small a resolution for your interface: some interfaces, like yours I think, weren't meant to be played on low resolutions. The reason behind that is quite simple: if I have to show 20 buttons and I have space for only 15 there's bound to be trouble.
You could solve the last overlapping by manually playing around with your UI scale. Just scale all of the UI down when you resize to a smaller window size, until nothing overlaps anymore.
Ultimately this isn't something Bartender can fix for you. It's a matter of configuring everything right.
