18 - Incompatibility with WIM and BadBoy

When WIM as well as both BadBoy and BadBoy_Levels are loaded, for every session the first whisper from a player not in the user's guild is blocked and causes this error message:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install BadBoy v6.001, BadBoy_Levels v2.50 and WIM 3.3.7
2. Login and have a player not in your character's guild whisper you something
3. Have the same player whisper you something else than what he first whispered you

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect both messages to go though to me. Instead the first message during this session is blocked and causes the above error message. At least if it comes from a player not in your character's guild. Any subsequent messages from that same player will go through. In fact, the very string that player initially whispered will remain blocked throughout this session. If he whispered "Hi, whazzup?!" and he whispered that same text again, it'll still not show up. Any other message by that player - or any other character for that matter - will go through as it should.

What version of the product are you using?
BadBoy v6.001, BadBoy_Levels v2.50 and WIM 3.3.7

Do you have an error log of what happened?
Yep, see above.

I don't witness this behavior with any arbitrary two of those three add-ons loaded. For example with WIM and BadBoy; or with BadBoy and BadBoy_Levels; or with BadBoy_Levels and WIM. However, with all three loaded this is what happens.

Since I'm not sure if it's up to you fine folks or the WIM developers to take care of this issue I've posted this very same report on the WIM bug report forum. There you'll find the topic Incompatibility with WIM and BadBoy.

    Looks very much like BadBoy_Levels v2.60 got rid of this issue. I wasn't able to reproduce the error message and now the first message from someone not in my guild goes through, too. Not just any subsequent messages.

    I consider this fixed. Thanks very much! I've reported the same findings over at the WIM forums just so they know it's no longer an issue.

    Please try v2.60 and see if it helps.

    The reason you didn't see this issue with BadBoy off, _Levels on and WIM on is because _Levels doesn't load unless BadBoy is on :)

    It does appear to be an issue with WIM currently. Probably best to wait and see what one of the developers have to say about it.
