289 - Prioritize Uldum

This could be a general option to prioritize selected races, but I mainly want to always have any Uldum digs at the top of the distance display so that I instantly know when Tolvir digs are available. Currently after clearing a dig I have to go to the world map to see if a new Tolvir dig is available, if I'm not in southern Kalimdor.

What the ticket describes is not actually possible.

If the distance display is visible (ie the digsites frame) and you're at the proper continent you'll see Uldum popping in the dig site list.
It might not be top (depending your distance from other dig sites) but there's no need to open the world map to check.

I don't know why this ticket is still open tbh, in-fact I'm going to close it. :-)

I'm also not going to implement a white list feature there's literally 4 digsites max at any one time.

What I might consider after I look at the logic is provide an option to have the race blacklist affect the dig site blacklist.
(ie be able to mass-blacklist dig sites by blacklisting a particular race; it currently only affects the artifacts list and mass-solve keybind)

Hmmm... maybe a little extension to this feature:

    • one option is to prioritize some digsites the same way as you may blacklist them
    • more sophisticated algorithm may reverse-order digsites according to their level (some kind of automatical sorting) instead of distance
