I am not taking over the project, just trying to keep the updates from wowinterface merged with here. I did have to do some fixes, however.

Up to 1.7b8 bugfix10, which is four fixes newer than wowinterface

Why don't you open a clone ?? Why WoWInterface for the Bugfixes??

The author hasn't been heard from since the floods down in Australia, as far as most of us know. Some of the people who helped out with the development have gotten together and are doing their best to keep it going over on WoWinterface. We're all hoping that the Daihenka comes back soon and all is well with him, but until then visit for updates.

Is support for this amazing addon dead? It's been a month and a half since there's been an update.

Did the Author give up? Anyone got an alternative?

Since patch, when I hover the mouse over map mini button nothing shows up, no boxes show up, basically completely broken. I can still 2x right click to survey and closest digsites still pop up but other then that nothing else works. Please fix for the recent patch. Great addon would hate to lose it.

DieenDieen, what you're requesting is actually a simplified version of what Archeology Helper offers as you'd only take into account the player's position and not the orientation of the survey.

Archeology Helper doesn't show the range on the minimap but on a toggleable HUD that supports GatherMate2 nodes to simplify Archeology even more. I'm just saying cause it really helps a lot and I'm sure it could help a lot of people because it is much more performant into helping you find fragments than Archy (which has a lot of other good sides though).

    Hope it helps
