  • Latest update

Hi guys,

I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.

I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.

That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.

Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.

I hope this answers some of your questions!

  • Issues

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

    Hello!

I need some help at configurating my UI. Basicly, I want to fix my raid frames in a way grind is fixed (kind of like raid frames picture, but only 5 per collum). Everything goes ok, but I get one problem. Due to being raid leader, it's very nice to see who gets what debuffs. Problem is, I want them inside and minimum per line is 8, which results in very small icon, where you can't even see number of stacks. So, is there any way to get those debuffs bigger? In addition, is there any filter to not show some sort of debuffs, like Arcane Blast debuff)?

    Thanks, Flesh

Not sure if its possible, but being able to hide groups 6,7,8 in raid, to reduce clutter for 25man raids. Also out of range fading for frames would be amazing ^^

i have a question concerning the battleship-event in icc. i use ag_unit since nearly 2 years, but the first week in icc i saw blizz unitframes at the right side of the screen for the two battleships. the following weeks there was nothing to see. what should i do to see the unitframes of the battleships again? can i use ag_unitframes for them? i don't wanna use xperl or the blizzard unitframes instead of ag...

sorry, my english is under all pigs^^

Hello, i really really adore this addon and i'm using it for years now. I love everything about this Userinterface but there is a little problem bugging me the whole time. There is some kind of problem that i can't solve. Please look at this:

    Message: ...dOns\ag_UnitFrames\modules\combattext\combattext.lua:174: Usage: aUFFontString264:SetFont("font", fontHeight [, flags]) Time: 01/04/10 15:29:39 Count: 1572 Stack: [C]: in function `SetFont' ...dOns\ag_UnitFrames\modules\combattext\combattext.lua:174: in function `CombatFeedback_OnCombatEvent' ...dOns\ag_UnitFrames\modules\combattext\combattext.lua:102: in function `method' Interface\AddOns\ag_UnitFrames\ag_UnitFrames.lua:971: in function <Interface\AddOns\ag_UnitFrames\ag_UnitFrames.lua:959>

    Locals: (*temporary) = aUFFontString264 { 0 = <userdata> } (*temporary) = nil (*temporary) = 13 (*temporary) = "OUTLINE"

Is there something i can do about it? Maybe it's a known problem. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Celd

I have a rather unique problem that I haven't seen any mention of. When I have the option 'Hide in Raid' enabled, for the Party frames, the power bar on my Player frame acts oddly. It's hard to describe, but basically when I use rage/energy/mana, the bar depletes a little, but there is still a red/yellow/blue shadow filling up to where it was previously. The shadow disappears a few seconds later. I doesn't happen while in a party, and unchecking the option 'Hide in Raid' fixes it in a raid setting. Has anyone else experienced this?

Still waiting for compact layout... using a nearly 2 year old version of ag_unitframes because none of the more recent ones has that layout...

Is there any way to disable a specific unitframe (ie: Player unitframe) when I'm in a group? I only want the Player unitframe to be visible when I'm not in a group.
