Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!
ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.
Slash Commands:
/acp - show and hide the ACP window
/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set
/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set
/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)
/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded
Icon meaning:
Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.
Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information
Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information
Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.
Credits:
ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

silverbow25 Jul 28, 2011 at 14:17 UTC - 0 likesI was noticing how whenever you load into a new zone(Outlands, Northrend, dungeon), hearth, or whatever you get a loading screen that presumably reloads your ui just like /reload ui does. So I thought hey I can save time if I'm about to hearth, I can switch to my Auction addons in ACP, then just hearth and it'll load them right? No it doesn't, probably by design, but I was wondering if there was any way to queue the reload ui to the next time you see a loading screen of this type to save yourself from seeing the loading screen twice, or if this is completely un-doable.

Shuri Dec 04, 2010 at 22:12 UTC - 0 likesJust wanted to say thank you for this addon, I've been using it for a long time as well as MCP before it and it's one of those "can't live without" addons for me. Thanks!

Petraca Apr 09, 2010 at 11:12 UTC - 0 likesActually it would be smarter if ACP would instead support profiles and support Reflux, because turning Addons on or off makes no sense without being able to switch their configuration.
I think it make sense to add to "Reflux" the ability to switch profiles on certain events (like entering a instance) and use that to switch the Set of Addons used in ACP too.
I do have for example a "farmProfile" which defines a certain GUI-Layout (like a bigger transparent Minimap) and a certain Set of Addons (no need for BigWigs etc). On entering a PVP-Battle I switch to "pvpProfile" which has a totally different Layout and different Addons. On entering a Instance I switch to "raidHealer", again with different Layout and different Addons.
Right now that is a process that need two /rl when actually only one is need if ACP would support profiles ...

Highlander1694 Jan 13, 2010 at 07:52 UTC - 0 likesIndeed my suggestion for an automatic load of a set it requires a UI reload. My question was if this could be automated by ACP, perhaps as part of the regular reload screen when the raid instance loads. Even if a second UI reload is required it would be a nice feature as the user is used to waiting a few seconds for a reload at this time and it saves him to manually select the raid set and type in a ui reload command.
I do not suggest this for instances in general, just for raids. Though i suppose the option could be useful to some for instances too.
My thinking is that in raids you are much more likely to want to remove a lot of add-ons (such as pet, social and other non essential add-ons) and add raid specific ones (such as cTRA, PallyPower, TotemGuru, Lootmaster add-ons, DKP add-ons, combat log add-ons, etc.).
I do of course have a raid set, but I often forget to reload. An automatic reload for raids would be a very nice feature.

xtoq Dec 08, 2009 at 23:17 UTC - 0 likes@highlander1694: wouldn't that require an immediate /rl upon actually loading the instance up? To me, it seems just as easy to make a "raid" set and a "questing" set (or "irrelevant") and just remove (via the "sets" menu) the irrelevant ones from the current set and reload yourself. Maybe its just because I have a lot of addons, and reloading in an instance is iffy at best for me, but if this option is added, I definitely want it to be togglable; loading a certain set upon zoning into an instance would be catastrophic for me personally.

Highlander1694 Nov 13, 2009 at 09:22 UTC - 0 likesWould it be possible to load a certain set on an entrance to a raid instance?
One of my primary uses of ACP is to switch between regular play and raid play (in raids I use far fewer addons to reduce lag and add a few that are only relevant to raid).
An automatic switch would be wonderful.
