FishingAce

Feb 27, 2014 Release
Simple right click casting. Double right-click to cast while a fishing pole is equipped. Options included to enhance the various telltale signs that you've caught a fish (upping the volume, enhance the pool "sparklies") and automatically applying a lure to your pole. Double click casting can result in lost catches in rare situations where the loot window and casting overlap. I haven't figured out if this is due to a slow computer or a slow connection, nor have I found a way around it yet.

FishPing

Aug 30, 2012 Inactive
FishPing is not an addon. It works by replacing WoW sound files. How to install: Copy the "Data" folder inside FishPing to your "World of Warcraft" directory so that it forms: /World of Warcraft/Data/Sound/Spells/FishingBobber_ver2_1.ogg etc Yes, this is all just a revival of the classic "FishPing" addon that stopped working as of 4.3.3 because the client now expects ".ogg" files rather than ".wav" files.

Fish Warden

May 03, 2011 Inactive
Fish Warden is designed to automatically grab the fish you want, without wasting bag space on junk as with the in-game auto loot. Think of it as a selective auto loot for fishing. Feedback If you have any issues or suggestions, please submit a ticket on www.wowace.com/addons/fishwarden, or if you really prefer you can leave a comment on the curse.com project page. Tickets are much easier to track, and are much more likely to be seen by me. If you have any suggestions for new filters, please...

Fishing Derby

Apr 18, 2011 Planning
Allows guilds to run pool-fishing contests which will help in obtaining the "That's A Lot of Bait" achievement and the recipe that goes with it. Keeps score in a competition to see who can catch the most things from fishing pools while the contest is running. Anything caught from any pool (including things like pools of fire or wreckage) will cause both the achievement counter and the player's score to increase. See the README file included in the addon's folder for details.
